The first BMW art car -- a 1975 3.0 CSL wearing a paint job designed by Alexander Calder -- headlined a class of significant cars from the German automaker at the 2014 Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance. LUXURY car maker Bentley has pulled the wraps off its new racecar-inspired Continental GT3-R. Taking inspiration from the firm’s new GT3-spec competition machine, the GT3-R is said to blend high performance with Bentley’s trademark luxury approach to motoring. The GT3-R will be a rare beast, too.

This isn’t a joke, but a concept for Aston Martin’s new £20k city car. Called the Cygnet, it’s a tiny Toyota iQ-based commuter car redesigned inside and out, and will be sold to existing and future Aston owners from the end of 2010. Well, an Aston city car.
